Litters

Being a small preservation kennel we breed only very rarely and only when we feel that a litter will be of benefit to the breed in the U.S.. Our focus is on producing healthy puppies who are mentally and physically sound and who have the traditional temperament and drive correct for the breed.

All of our breeding dogs are checked for genetic diseases including PennHip radiographs, OFA Patella, Thyroid, and eye testing, and Embark DNA testing.

Izzy is a lovely Gray girl with a calm confident temperament and tons of drive. We are planning a breeding in early 2025 using frozen semen from a male who was born on Jindo Island and was imported to the United Kingdom by Yelyeong Kennels. Puppies from our kennel will come with:

Registration with a reputable US Kennel Club
Health check from a licensed Veterinarian
Deworming and first set of vaccinations

Our puppies are members of our family, and are raised inside our home. As they grow they receive extensive enrichment and socialization opportunities, and are exposed to many situations focused on setting them up for success once they go to their final homes.

It is important to us that they go to active, loving, lifelong homes where they will be an integral part of their owner’s lives. If you are interested in more information on our puppies please start by doing your research about the breed. If you think you might be interested in a pup from one of our litters, the first step is to fill out our online application form.

Online Application

Once an application is received we will place you on our interest list and respond with some basic information and answers to common questions we receive. We will be happy to answer any additional specific questions you may have in this beginning stage.

When we confirm a breeding is imminent and have the details, we will contact the individuals on our interest list. If you are still interested in a puppy from us we will discuss your priorities and clarify any questions we may have about your household and what you are looking for in a puppy. If we all agree a puppy from the breeding might be a good match for you, you will be placed on our waiting list for the litter.

As the pregnancy progresses, our waiting list will be kept updated. We generally confirm pregnancy via ultrasound at around 30 days. We can not predict number of puppies, sexes, or colors until the litter is born.

Once the pups have arrived our waiting list will receive updates, puppy pictures, and progress reports as the puppies grow. We will evaluate puppies at 7-8 weeks of age for temperament, personality, conformation, and suitability for particular activities. In making placement choices we prioritize the “best fit” for each individual puppy and home.
